essential oils · Essential Oils and Faith

From Skeptic to Believer

I used to be such a skeptic.

It’s true.  I honestly believed that the only purpose of essential oils was to diffuse a pleasant smell and nothing more.

Then, I decided that as a mom of eight, I needed to look for better ways to support our family’s immune system.  Getting sick with ten people in the house is no fun, y’all.

I called out to friends, and was introduced to essential oils.  I couldn’t believe that they could actually be used to support body systems.  To bring balance to us as a whole.  At first I thought this whole idea was crazy!

I shouldn’t have been so surprised.  After all, the same God who created us created the plants that nourish us.  If plants have the ability to benefit us as food, why couldn’t they also support our health in other ways?

So, I started to research.  I am now a student of French Aromatherapy working towards certification.  And I’m loving all that I have found!  Science backs essential oils up!

I hope this site encourages you as I share what I have learned.  My faith will most definitely be sprinkled throughout.

…and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Ezekiel 47:12

My prayer is that this will be a place where we can come together to learn more about essential oils and how they can bring balance to our lives!
