A Weekly Glimpse into Our Home #1

In an attempt to hold myself accountable, I would love to share a weekly glimpse into our home from time to time. It is so easy for me to overlook the simple joys that God has so graciously allowed me to enjoy as a homemaker.

If you would like to follow along, please do! Feel free to comment about your week below, or leave a link to your posts.

This week I…

am loving falling asleep while holding my husband’s hand. He has been working so hard for our family lately, and I love him dearly.

am reading Living Virtuously by Erin Harrison, along with several new teacher’s guides.

am watching my children’s big smiles when they are leaving violin lessons or talking about their upcoming 4H meeting.

am praying that we all continue to adjust to our move to South Carolina.

am hoping I find some more discounted French bread at Walmart this week. It was very good, and was only $0.56.

am looking forward to visiting Lidl, a new-to-me grocery store soon.

am using PMS Ease by Eden’s Garden. Ladies, this essential oil blend works wonders for me, and I’m able to stretch it far by diluting it with fractionated coconut oil.

am diffusing Autumn Breeze by Plant Therapy. I finally got around to unpacking one of our diffusers! This blend is safe to diffuse around children.

am planning on taking a trip to our local zoo soon. There are koalas there, and our little girls are so excited to see them.

am working on hanging photographs and filling bookcases. Little by little this place is beginning to feel like home.

I pray y’all have had a lovely week!

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.

2 Corinthians 9:8 NASB

4H is such a great experience for kids. Definitely something to smile about.
And that cheap French bread at Walmart brings a smile to my family’s face as well!
