In an attempt to hold myself accountable, I would love to share a weekly glimpse into our home from time to time. It is so easy for me to overlook the simple joys that God has so graciously allowed me to enjoy as a homemaker.
If you would like to follow along, please do! Feel free to comment about your week below, or leave a link to your posts.
This week I…
…am loving the way our new home is coming together. We made another trip to Georgia over the weekend and brought back an additional uHaul truck full of our things. I’m starting to really like it here, and am even considering foregoing some of our expansion plans. Our utility bill is a breathe of fresh air right now!
…am reading lots of blogs, thanks to my daughter, who introduced me to the reader function in the WordPress app on my phone.
…am watching my children blossom while beginning their new home school curriculum. New beginnings are always such fun!
…am praying that our home in Georgia sells quickly, if the Lord wills.
…am hoping that I get a chance to pick up a $2.99 pot of mums from Lidl today.
…am looking forward to the weekend. Don’t we all!
…am using Pest Away by Eden’s Garden. The mosquitoes have been fierce since Hurricane Irma dumped a lot of rain around here. My kids are enjoying the “swamps” on both sides of the driveway, but I hope the water evaporates or is absorbed into the ground soon.
…am diffusing anything citrus. Citrus essential oils are uplifting and lovely!
…am planning on purchasing a few new home decor items for the kids rooms.
…am working on Etsy orders, and adding a few Charlotte Mason-ish items to my second grader’s agenda.
I pray y’all have had a lovely week!
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
2 Corinthians 9:8 NASB
