In an attempt to hold myself accountable, I would love to share a weekly glimpse into our home from time to time. It is so easy for me to overlook the simple joys that God has so graciously allowed me to enjoy as a homemaker.
If you would like to follow along, please do! Feel free to comment about your week below, or leave a link to your posts.
This week I…
…am loving that my husband and I were able to sneak away to Cracker Barrel while my MIL was visiting this weekend. We sat next to an elderly Mennonite couple who was sharing a dessert, and it inspired us to do the same.
…am reading lots of children’s books. Mallory has asked me to read God Made Just One from Mary & Martha over and over. She squeezes her bear and giggles while I read. She’s a hoot.
…am watching Mason find five shark teeth on the beach this week. He was excited!
…am praying that the Lord will lead us to a church home soon. We really would like to settle in after moving.
…am hoping that possibly I can introduce someone to the blessing of Mary & Martha this week
…am looking forward to getting our ROKU sticks in the mail. We are finally able to give internet-based TV a try since we have WIFI now.
…am using RC and Sniffle Stopper oils. Enough said. RC gives me a massive headache, but a few of my children are using it right now.
…am diffusing Autumn Breeze by Plant Therapy once again. I love it’s scent! (Still).
…am planning on figuring out where to put a few animal pens. This makes my heart so happy, y’all!
…am working on slicing our food budget even more.
I hope y’all have had a lovely week thus far!
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.

Thank you so much for the encouragement!
Nicole, thank you for sharing your home. It’s not always easy welcoming others into our home. My professor recently shared with regard to Simon and the unnamed woman Luke 7, “Sharing a meal is an intimate experience, I invite you into my home and you see the reality of my life.” Her words are so true. Thank you for inviting me into your home. I am grateful.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I hope you feel at home in home number five and find a church too. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into your day.
Thank you Valerie!
