Cover Up for Christ {11/20/17}

If you’d like to read about why I wear modest skirts or dresses pretty much all of the time, please take a look at this post. Read more about head coverings here. Thank you so much for visiting!

Thanksgiving is nearly here! I love this time of year. The Lord paints so many beautiful colors in the fall, doesn’t He?

I put this outfit together for a quick outing to our sleepy little town. The colors reminded me of Thanksgiving, and so I wanted to share it with you this week.

What I Wore:

Skirt: Handmade with fabric from Hobby Lobby

Shirt: Walmart

Headband/Head Covering: Amazon

I usually do not mix patterns very often, but I thought the paisley and swiss dots worked well together. This skirt doesn’t fit as well as the skirt I shared in last week’s post. This was my second pattern attempt, which still wasn’t quite right.

I purchased a pack of lace headbands from Amazon. I love each and every one of them! They can be worn wide or narrow.

It is such a joy to dress for my Savior!

We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving meal. Lord willing, my mother in law will join us if she decides to drive to South Carolina.

Have a blessed week with your families!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I would love to connect with you on Facebook. I’d also like to invite you to my Mary & Martha Facebook Page, or to look at beautiful and inspiring Mary & Martha home decor. It is a such a blessing to serve you!

    love your outfit! About 2 years ago I had a major conviction to dress more modest. It has changed my life entirely. Now I am a fulltime skirt wear and I love it.
