Life in Our Home || November 2019

Good morning, ladies! I hope your month has been beautiful, thus far. We are settling into a time of rest while waiting for our newest addition to arrive, and it has been wonderful.

I’m currently 39.5 weeks pregnant. I actually made it to the grocery store today with the help of my sixteen years old son. I love using the Ibotta app to save on groceries, and today I received $10 back on my regular purchases. I’m especially loving the new feature which allows me to pay for items through my phone, and receive 1% cash back on my entire Walmart bill. If you would like to sign up for Ibotta, I would totally recommend it. I’ve received over $260 cash back over the past 18 months.

Our homeschool is winding down for our littles until 2020. We began in the middle of summer since I knew we were expecting a fall baby. I think we are all excited for the short break.

Our violin lessons end for the semester in two days as well. If baby doesn’t decide to make his appearance, I’m looking forward to the performance on Friday. My oldest son is not looking forward to wearing what he has dubbed “his wedding costume,” ha!

I’ve spent a bit of time this week putting together two separate online gift shops, one for this blog, and one for my financial Instagram page. It has been a lot of fun and my two oldest daughters who are still at home are doing the same along side of me.

We have amped up our HSA in preparation for the baby’s birth, and I’m looking forward to paying some extra on the mortgage tomorrow. It is almost comical how exciting the thought of being completely debt free makes me.

November is such a lovely month, isn’t it? Thank you for stopping by today, friends!
