Well, how’s that for a title? Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and I hope you had a very blessed day with your family. Mine was both perfect and hard at the same time. That’s life sometimes, isn’t it?

We decided to stay frugal and drove the Cherohala Skyway for the first time. Ah, there were so many amazing views! The best part was being there with most of my family. They spoiled me with the sweetest gifts and trinkets in the morning. We also picked up our new baby goat Hazel in a thunderstorm later in the afternoon. That was quite the experience!

Today we have a dentist appointment, and since one of my oldest daughters is here we might do something fun this afternoon. School is almost out for summer over here. Hooray!
