Hello, friends! Hanukkah is sneaking up on me this year. I can’t believe that it begins at the end of November! I wanted to make sure I got a free Printable Pack to you all well before it began, so here it is.
As a believer in the Messiah, sometimes Hanukkah products that integrate Him are difficult to find. So, I created my own. This printable pack includes two writing/drawing prompts about Yeshua (Jesus) at the temple during Hanukkah (found in John 10), a menorah to color, and a thankfulness chart to be filled in during each of the eight days of the Feast.
Our Hanukkah celebrations have ranged from low-key, to more of a festive environment. This year, I believe I will be going for “festive,” since we are not stuck in between two houses like we were last year. I’m trying to be prudent, and plan early this year!
I wrote a post a couple of years ago about how our family celebrates Hanukkah. You can find it here. Perhaps you will find something to integrate into your own home.
The Lord (YHWH) has been so good to show us how we can celebrate Hanukkah with a clear conscience. Giving up Christmas was difficult on me for quite awhile. I’m so glad that I’ve learned to really enjoy celebrating His Feast Days, along with historical celebrations like Hanukkah, which are mentioned in Scripture, and found in the Apocrypha.
Have a blessed day, friends. Hanukkah will be here before we know it!
Then came Hanukkah; it was winter in Jerusalem. Yeshua was walking in the Temple around Solomon’s Colonnade. Then the Judean leaders surrounded Him, saying, “How long will You hold us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us outright!” Yeshua answered them, “I told you, but you don’t believe! The works I do in My Father’s name testify concerning Me. But you don’t believe, because you are not My sheep. My sheep hear My voice. I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life! They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. And no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
