Modest Monday || Muted Top with Brown Skirt

Days spent at home with my family are some of the best days. Like today. We are homeschooling, and I will be doing a bit of cleaning after the weekend. Mom life, right?

Today I’m sharing a comfortable outfit I put together for mild fall days. Now, I wouldn’t wear the sandals out in November, but I find them to be perfectly acceptable for a day at home.

Top – Burke’s Outlet

Skirt – Thrifted

Bracelet – Amazon

I purchased this bracelet about two years ago, right before I gave birth to Moses. Even after having eight children, birthing a baby can still feel scary. Having Scripture on my arm to look at while at the hospital gave me a measure of peace. You can read about his birth story here.

My favorite part of this outfit is probably the skirt. I adore skirts that kind of have a bohemian vibe, and that flow. One of my daughters used to make sure a skirt would twirl before she would wear it, and this skirt brings me back to those days.

I hope you have delightful times with your families ahead. We don’t even need to leave home to enjoy being together. I’m looking forward to my husband working on a few kitchen improvements soon. He will be hanging tongue and groove planks as an accent wall, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. He promised to add more rustic accents to our home once we sold our cabin, and I just can’t wait! Delightful plans for me to be sure, for him…maybe not so much, ha!

Blessings, ladies!

But I trust in Your lovingkindness, my heart rejoices in Your salvation. I will sing to Adonai (YHWH), because He has been good to me.
