Hello, and welcome! I hope you had a good weekend. We pretty much spent the weekend together as a family, and on Saturday evening two of my older children played music for a homeschool contra dance. (To be honest, I’m not even quite sure what that is. Square dancing?) Today we have to drive into the city for an eye appointment for my five-year-old. She is possibly facing a surgery, and I would so appreciate your prayers for her. If you entered the 500th Post Giveaway, be sure to check out the update below:
Giveaway Update: Lara Allen, I have been unable to contact the original winner. The number has been redrawn, and you are the winner! Please email your mailing address to me at email@example.com and I will get it in the mail for you.
In today’s post, I’m wearing a super comfy plaid shirt that my husband purchased for me back in early October when it was my birthday. It was definitely a bit pricier than the rest of my shirts at $32.00. Since it is amazing on the comfort scale however, I wanted to share it with you! Perhaps it will be on sale on Black Friday.
Shirt – Bass Pro Shops
Skirt – Cato
My skirt doesn’t have the best fitment in this picture, but that’s okay. I’m not too concerned about being trendy at this point of my life. I just hope to be comfortable, feminine, covered, and in November, warm!
This week will be pretty busy for us, with today being Mabrey’s appointment, and Friday being a violin and guitar recital. I will be happy for a bit of rest next weekend.
We will also be tying up some loose school ends this week, and hope to take a break from homeschooling during Thanksgiving week. My husband has taken off the entire week, and I’m really looking forward to it. Although I’m sure we will be spending a lot of time on house projects, it should be fun!
I hope you have a lovely week, ladies.
Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.
