A Homemaker’s Day | December 10, 2021

Hello friends, and happy Friday! I’m so excited about the weekend. Tonight a couple of my older children will be playing their instruments at a homeschool contra dance, and I hope to pick up a few fun items while we wait on them to finish. Saturday should be a lovely day of rest, and maybe, just maybe, we will be able to put the roof on our new building on Sunday. We have been rained out the past few weekends.

Earlier in the week, I shared a “Day in the Life” style video on YouTube. These videos are always so much fun to film, and I hope you enjoy it. I pressure can, make chili, and wrap some gifts. I’m not a professional videographer by any means, ha! But I know it can be encouraging to watch others who are homemakers, so I hope these videos are a blessing to you.

I’m also very excited today because I have a fledgling ministry idea that I believe I want to try. The Lord has put something on my heart, and I think I want to give it a go! I have been praying for awhile to find a way to bless others. I hope this idea will do just that, and I will be sure to let you know once it’s in the works.

I plan to lean into God this week, and ask Him to keep guiding me in my home, and as a wife and mother. He is so good to give us His wisdom in His Word.

I hope you have a lovely weekend, friends! I will talk to you soon.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
