It’s been such a lovely day at home. I’ve gotten a lot accomplished…that feels so nice, doesn’t it? We have a pretty good routine in place, which makes life so much easier. The amount of schoolwork left in our pile to complete before the new year is dwindling, so our work load was light, and we finished early today.
Last week, I shared a “Day in the Life” style video over on my YouTube channel, and I thought I would share it here with you, also. In it, I make sourdough bread, prep dinner, and work on a couple of sewing projects for my home and children. I really enjoyed making a pot holder and small tote bag for my five-year-old daughter!
I also have been working on a few other sewing projects for my new “Little Blessings” section of my Etsy shop. I still have a few $1.00 baby items left from my drop this month, if you know anyone who is interested.
Today, I enjoyed a super yummy piece of homemade pizza for lunch (no cheese, and heavy on the veggies), and left over fajitas for dinner. In between homeschooling and meals, I organized the new desk my husband purchased for me yesterday. It is so nice to clear out the last of the boxes left over from our move. I must admit I hadn’t been looking forward to it, though. Over the weekend, I cleaned out a huge box full of random bathroom and medical things. It was a relief to get those chores off of my plate.
I hope you have a nice week planned. We hope to visit a semi-local aquarium and go ice skating on Saturday. It should be really fun! I will be packing lunches and snacks, since I doubt much will be open on Christmas Day. We have been packing lunches pretty often when we go out anyhow, partially due to a book titled “Fast Food Genocide: How Processed Food is Killing Us and What We Can Do About It.” I haven’t read all of it yet, but yes, it does have me avoiding most fast food!
Have a blessed day, friends.
