Happy Monday, friends! I hope your weekend was full of the Lord’s blessings. I had a lovely few days with my family. Not everything went exactly according to plan, but that’s okay. There was still so much good in it. I must admit that I have a bit of a spring in my step since the new year is so close. I’ve been working through a few plans and goals, And I’m very excited to see where God takes me and my family this year.
I wore this outfit when we went to an aquarium on Christmas Day. The day didn’t go exactly according to plan, because the area was so incredibly crowded, and this just made everything more difficult. We didn’t get to spend as much time as we liked at each exhibit. Ice skating (for my kiddos) was nixed due to the crowds. Instead, we spent over an hour waiting at a mountain/Alpine coaster. (Which yes, I did ride in a dress!) The day ended with a three hour wait at our restaurant of choice, so we drove home and ate snacks in the car instead. But my children had a good time overall, and we did make some good memories.
What I Wore:
Dress – Hamrick’s
Cardigan – Thrifted
Shoes – Shoe Dept.
I wore this dress because it’s soft, comfortable, and I hadn’t expected to ride a mountain roller coaster! But hey, I was wearing leggings underneath, and I believe I was pretty modest about the situation. It was worth it to ride with my five-year-old and hear her squeals of delight!
I hope to have a couple of “goal” posts for you up this week. It is fun to decide on things I would like to do and learn!
I hope you have a lovely week. We aren’t schooling this week, and I hope to get a few projects done around the house. Oh, and right now my Etsy shop is 15% off! You can check it out here.
Blessings, friends!
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
