Hello, friends. I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend, and are looking forward to another week. We are starting back our homeschooling schedule, which to be honest, I have mixed feelings about. I love to watch my children learn, but at the same time, breaks can be nice, can’t they?
Before I go any further, I would like to mention that if you haven’t noticed, this blog is intended for ladies. I don’t appreciate any comments from men that I deem inappropriate. And it doesn’t take much for me to deem a comment inappropriate! I will delete and ban in a second. I’m very, very happily married, and comments from men about my appearance in any way, shape, or form will not be tolerated.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way (ha!), it’s time for another Modest Monday post! I actually wore this outfit on New Years Eve. It was a slow day at home (for me anyway). In the morning, I ran for one hour straight for the first time! Ah, I was so happy about this! I never in a million years would have thought my body could do this at 41-years-old! I hope to share a run down of my fitness/diet journey soon, and what has worked for me. I am currently only three pounds away from my goal weight. Hooray! A new weight loss post is coming soon, but for now, you can read my latest update here.
Anyhow, after running, I quickly took a shower and got dressed so my husband could proceed to tear out our bathtub and officially start our bathroom renovation. That was when my day got easy, and my husband’s got harder and harder. It was a job to tear out the shower/tub combo, and once he was finally done, we discovered that our new tub had a big ol’ scratch down it! So off to Home Depot he went.
Oh ladies, tearing out the tub was such a mess! We discovered mold, plus a dead mouse and tons of excrement underneath the tub. That was a fun surprise. Excuse my sarcasm, ha!

Anyhow, this is what I wore for the day. I hope that you are encouraged that clothing doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. I thrift so many of my things!
What I Wore:
Shirt – Ross
Undershirt – Cato
Cardigan – Cato
Skirt – Thrifted
Please remember that your clothing doesn’t have to be expensive, or trendy, to honor the Lord. What matters is that we cover up, because we are daughters of the Most High. You are precious in His sight, friends!
Although my skirt was thrifted, you can find a similar one here.
I hope you enjoy your time here, and leave encouraged. I will be back soon with a new post.

Very nice outfit. I sewed a couple of skirts that looked similar. I’m hoping to continue learning to sew in order to make more modest dresses for me. I’m trying to lose weight however we are recovering from Covid and since I didn’t have much of an appetite I lost weight faster than I planned.
Sewing is such a great skill to have! Thank you for sharing, Regina!
I like the cardigan you’re wearing here. It makes a nice silhouette on you.
Those tiered skirts are just about my favorite style. They are so comfortable.
I was looking at a couple of your outfits with my husband and he liked this one too! Sometimes we just talk about outfits!
Have a good week!
Laurie
Thanks, Laurie! I really like tiered skirts, too.❤️
