I wasn’t going to take a picture today, but I just had to because there was SNOW! It doesn’t snow very often in our neck of the woods, so even though there was just a little bit left in this photo, I wanted to document it somehow.
Today my husband was off of work, and we decided to take a look at some land for sale. We aren’t looking to leave our homestead, but rather, to add a little bit of property to what we already own as a legacy for our children. It hasn’t been the Lord’s will for it to happen yet, though.
I had high hopes for this property, but it definitely wasn’t the one. The land was pretty steep, and I fell not one, but three times while walking it. I had my daughter Mabrey’s hand, and we were quite the sight! At the time I was wearing my rain boots because of the snow/rain we have been having, and boy, are they slippery coupled with leaves! My husband had to offer me his arm in order to get me safely down the mountain. I am worried that I will be sore in the morning.

Overall, it was a fun experience, though. In some areas, the scenery was gorgeous. The higher elevations got more snow than our home did.
What I Wore:
Skirt – Thrifted
Black Shirt – Walmart
Orange Cardigan – Thrifted
Headband – Amazon
Shoes – Shoe Dept.
I recycle many of my clothing items with the same cardigans. I believe I shared this orange sweater already a couple of weeks ago. There is nothing wrong with being thrifty, and reusing items!

I enjoy going to thrift stores to find items that I would like to add to my wardrobe. I usually spend a day once every year or two at thrift stores, trying to fill in any gaps that I have. I purchased this sweater and skirt several years ago. Being thrifty can really be a blessing to your family. Besides, it can be fun to see what you can find!
I hope you have a nice week, friends. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.
