Happy Monday, friends. Today is a day full of homeschool adventures, taking place right in our dining room. It is such a blessing to be able to teach my children! Today is exciting because the weather is expected to warm up to around sixty degrees this afternoon. I plan to take everyone outside to enjoy it!
Today I’m wearing my basic homeschool mom apparel. But first, I usually wake up and put on either my skirted leggings or a pair of sweat pants to either jog or ride our exercise bicycle.
Today I watched a video from the Garden Answer YouTube channel while riding our bicycle. It was nice and warm inside, and the time went by quickly since I was enjoying the video so much. My younger girls and I watched a bunch of before and after garden makeovers. Makynlee now wants a “fairy garden” made for people, ha! Not that any fairy gardens were featured, but she thought a few of them were so beautiful, she called them that. I told her I would see what I could do over time.
Later, I changed into this outfit. It is so comfortable, which is a must in my book.
What I Wore:
Skirt – Thrifted
Sweater – Beall’s
I don’t know if Love in Truth even carries this t-shirt any longer, but I love it. I have recently started a series on the blog about the Proverbs 31 woman, and I really do like this shirt that quotes Proverbs 31:25.
The shirt is was a little big on me, so I tied it in the back. This over-sized sweater is the most comfortable thing ever, and I wear it pretty much every day when we are at home. I purchased it over two years ago, and it is getting well worn. I don’t even care. I have stopped wearing it out and about, but I’m sure I will continue wearing it inside of my home for years to come.
When we are choosing choosing what to wear each day, I would like to encourage you to not worry so much about the world’s fashions. What matters is that we are wearing clothing that is pleasing to the Lord and to our husbands. And there is nothing wrong with being comfortable while wearing clothing that you love!
I hope you have a wonderful day, friends. If you would like to learn more about becoming a Member of Redeeming Home, please click here.
