Happy Monday, friends! I hope you have had a good weekend. We’ve been super busy working on home improvement projects. Thanks to my husband and sons, we now have a larger pantry in the kitchen. This has been a long awaited project. I’m now waiting on the stain to air our a bit, and then I will begin filling it with all of the food that has been patiently waiting in laundry baskets and bins in our kitchen.
Today I wore a super soft dress that I picked up from Hamrick’s. The best part of this dress was that it was only $8.00!
What I Wore:
Dress – Hamrick’s
Boots – Cabela’s
Headband – Amazon
Today was a home school day for us. I believe we are getting spring fever! We don’t have too much left to go, and my children are excited to see that they are nearing the end of their books. I must admit that I’m excited, too. I hope to spend much of the summer outdoors with my family!
After homeschooling, I decided it was time to plant the onions I purchased from Dixondale Farms. And yes, I planted them while wearing this dress! I was careful, and didn’t get dirty at all. I also had a sweet little helper. My daughter Mallory enjoys spending time with me in the garden.
As I’m writing this, there have been some worrisome world events occurring that have threatened to steal my joy. I recently wrote about it here. But I’m doing my best to stay focused on my home and family. They are my everything, besides my faith. Today was a good day to soak in the goodness of being a stay-at-home mom and homemaker.
I hope you have a lovely week, friends. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.
