Oh friends, I am so stinking tired! I just spent all morning spreading compost and planting our in ground garden. I just have two small rows of corn left to plant. I sent a text to my husband just now asking if he can pick up some more for me. I want to make sure that I continue on with the same variety since corn easily cross pollinates.
Today I would like to share a video tour of our raised bed garden that I filmed a couple of weeks ago. It is fun to document what I’m doing. One day I will be able to look back to see what worked and what didn’t. In the end, this should make my garden so much better!
I admit that I’m a bit overwhelmed. While I have gardened on a small scale for several years now, I feel the push to really do all that I can right now. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if we started to experience “famine” type conditions within a year or two. Goodness, I hope I’m wrong! But I do feel like it is super important to do what we can to grow our own food right now.
Since my free time is limited right now, most of the content on this blog will probably be geared towards the garden for a little while. At the same time, I probably will sprinkle more things in, too! I love sharing about my faith, and about what the Lord has done for me. I love sharing about the importance of Biblical womanhood, and what that looks like in my life.
But for now, I hope you enjoy this garden tour. It is so much fun to watch our gardens grow and change!
