Hello, friends. It has been awhile since I wrote a Modest Monday post. I recently purchased a few new dresses however, and I wanted to share one of them with you.
I love comfortable, modest dresses. They are just perfect for summertime. I wear dresses like these often in the winter, too. I simply layer a warm cardigan on top.
I wear this dress pretty often. It is a nice dress to wear while doing chores, or while running errands. I like for my wardrobe to be dual purpose. Some folks say that dresses are “fancy.” Not me! I feel like wearing a dress is a simple way to be feminine, and I wear them doing just about everything.
What I Wore:
I recently purchased five dresses from Emery Rose for just over $50.00 after using a coupon code. What a deal! I believe that my wardrobe is complete for the time being. I finally lost 40 pounds of baby weight last year and I have added several new things to my wardrobe since. Hopefully these new pieces will last a long time. I’m definitely trying to be gentle with them.
My hair seems to finally be growing back after loosing literally half of it after I had Covid last fall. While I know hair isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things, this has been hard for me. I’ve been wearing a lot of hats and headbands, and wash it only a couple of times per week. I’ve also been avoiding my blow dryer. It is so thin at the bottom now, and I’ve been cutting an inch or so off of it every month or two.
