Making Skirts for Your Little Ones

Hello, and Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a wonderful day in the Lord. Last week was a good one for me. On Friday, I stopped by my PO Box and found the sweetest note from Deb. Deb, if you are reading this, thank you so much!

Earlier in the week I posted about opening my Etsy shop (Joyfully Made), and then closing it again once I realized that I did so out of fear of the future. My husband advised me to not worry about spending a lot of my time making birthday outfits if I did so because of inflation worries. He was totally right, and I closed my shop the next day.

However, it has been awhile since I’ve sewn for anyone else, and I have missed it. With my husband’s blessing, I’ve decided to open my shop with only skirts for sale. I don’t anticipate becoming too overwhelmed by doing this, and I love to make skirts for others, especially in this immodest world that we live in.

You can take a look at my Etsy shop here.

As of right now, I only have skirts listed up to girls size 6 for sale. I can make other sizes however, if I have your length and waist measurement. I hope to one day at least go up to girls size 12 in my standard sizing. I would need to do a little bit of research about this first since I’m used to mainly making smaller sizes.

The skirts I make come standard in knee length, but I can definitely make them longer if you would like. I just need to know your custom length measurement and then we are good to go.

If you know anyone who would be interested in a skirt made by myself please feel free to pass my information along to them. I started selling on Etsy in 2008, and have sold over 5,000 items on that platform. I began by making and selling things like tutus and tutu dresses since my girls were in competitive dance classes at the time. As the years went on, the Lord convicted me to begin making simpler and sweeter items instead. I’m so thankful that He did!

I also hope to have skirts listed in my shop on this website soon. I’m not technologically savvy, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to add sizing to the listings. Hopefully I will figure that out soon.

I hope that you have a wonderful week ahead of you. I plan to order the rest of our home school material, so we can get started on our new school year by the first of August. Such fun!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. May the Lord bless you!
