Good morning, friends. I’m so happy that I am able to write to you for a few minutes this morning. I have been encouraged by several things in my life lately. Things that I wasn’t sure would ever happen. I would love to share them with you today.
Our home is starting to come together in bits and pieces. I am so, so thankful! Deciding to do most everything ourselves when it comes to renovations takes so much patience. But now after two years, changes are more evident. It really is starting to feel like home. I realized the other day that my six-year-old has lived in four homes. While moving so often helped our finances immensely, it was hard on my heart. I’m so happy to finally be settling in.
With my husband’s blessing, I have been revamping my Etsy shop. Oh, how fun this has been! I’m trying to create more digital downloads to sell, which is something I really enjoy doing. Now that our garden is slowing down, I have more time to dedicate to these types of things.
All of my digital files are included in membership, if you are interested.
Relationships are important and I recently decided to make my mother and mother in law a bigger priority in my life. It hit me the other day that they are getting older, and I need to do whatever I can to give them the best life possible. I want them to enjoy the rest of their lives! Of course we don’t always see eye to eye, but I am going my best to just “smile and nod” from now on, if you know what I mean.
I’ve also been encouraged to continue giving my husband and children my all. I really want to invest in their lives well. This morning I had a few things to do, but Moses had other plans. He is more important than those other chores. I chose him. As a young mother, I didn’t always do that. But now I realize just how fleeting time is.
Today should be busy, but good. Homemaking, homeschooling, and grocery shopping is on the agenda. What a blessed day it should be.
