Thankful for October Blessings

Hello, friends. I hope you are having a nice day. The Sabbath is such a special day, and I would like to share some of the blessings I’ve encountered this month with you.

Not too long ago, my youngest son became quite ill. This is abnormal for him, and I was so very worried! He literally wanted me to be by his side every second, so I spent two days in bed with him. He was pitiful. Thankfully, he pulled through and is doing so well now. It made me realize that I don’t thank the Lord for the blessing of health enough. Simply being well is such a blessing! I usually do not think about it until I am sick, which is no way to be. So praise the Lord for good health!

While I am sad that our first frost came earlier than expected, I am very happy that I now feel free to walk in our woods whenever I please. During the warmer months, I am deathly afraid of ticks. I found two on me this year which was terrifying. So walking through the woods worry free is wonderful!

My family visited a pumpkin patch, which was such fun. I believe I shared a short video of our experience in an earlier post, but I’m going to share it again here as well. Visiting a pumpkin patch is a yearly tradition for us. I really enjoy decorating for fall, and pumpkins really help me to do that well.

We celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles, which was such a blessing. Honestly, I don’t feel like I fully enjoyed the feast like I normally do. The activities I put together were last minute, and I didn’t think them through like I normally would. Next year I definitely am going to try to do better. I hope it was still an enjoyable time for my children. On the last day, we had a “feast” along with gifts. It was such a special time.

So far, “Blogtober” is going strong, and I have been able to post each day! I hope I will be able to keep up the trend.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, friends. The Lord loves and cares for you, and I hope His blessings are evident in your life!
