Modest Monday | Blue with Denim

Hey friends, and welcome to the blog! Happy Monday!

It’s a fresh week, with many opportunities in it to serve our families well. I’m so thankful for all of the blessings the Lord has given me.

Today I’m sharing another dress from Emery Rose. If you can’t tell, I placed a good size order with that company recently. I specifically looked for discounted dresses, and then I used a 15% off coupon as well.

While I’m not a huge fan of the sleeves, overall I really like this dress. It is comfortable, and is nice to wear on a normal homeschooling day. I really like the high neckline, too. I can move freely without worrying about my dress shifting incorrectly.

I paired it with a pair of jeans that I recently purchased from Amazon, and a head covering from Cassie’s Corner Shop. If you haven’t checked out Cassie’s Corner Shop, I highly recommend it. Cassie is the sweetest!

This morning I went out for a jog bright and early. It was kind of chilly, since a cold front had just moved through. I actually like to run in the cold, and I gave it my all. My watch was probably generous, but it said that I ran a 5k in 27:40. I will take it! (I say this jokingly. I know my watch can’t be very accurate while I run up and down my driveway.)

Afterwards, I spent several hours in the kitchen working on soup, sourdough bread, and chickpea pasta. My three-year-old is hilarious. He can eat the zucchini from my pasta by the bowl-full. Next time, I will probably make a batch of zucchini just for him.

Homeschooling came next, and now I’m spending a little bit of time writing to you! Lord willing, I will spend some time studying the Scriptures soon.

I hope you have a nice day, friends. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog!
