Hello friends, and welcome to the blog! I hope you have a blessed day ahead of you.
Today we are getting back into our homeschool schedule, and a lot of my regular homemaking routine. I am looking forward to it! While we have had a nice break, I do like having a routine to follow.
I’m sure I will be tweaking our schedule here and there for a little while. This is the beauty of being a homemaker. We can keep the routines that work for us, and forget about the things that don’t.
I wanted to share a little bit of Tuesday encouragement with you today. Your role as a woman, wife, mother, or homemaker is a high calling in the eyes of God!
I like this poem that I recently came across.
God’s Will for You and Me
Just to be tender, just to be true
Just to be glad, the whole day through!
Just to be merciful, just to be mild
Just to be trustful, as a child.
Just to be gentle and kind and sweet
Just to be helpful with willing feet.
Just to be cheery, when things go wrong
Just to drive sadness away with a song.
Whether the hour is dark or bright
Just to be loyal to God and right.
Just to believe, God knows best
Just in His promises ever to rest.
Just to let love be our daily key
That is God’s will for you and me.

Let’s choose to rest in God’s promises, and to be loyal to Him. May our feet be willing to serve both Him and our families with joy! Let us love in all things.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends. I will talk to you soon!

Nicole,
Thank you for this post. I have been very out of sorts lately and needed the reminder from this poem to help me get back to where I need to be. I lost my anchor and was stumbling worse and worse. The poem says all I need to hear.
I’m so glad it was helpful, Darlene!
