Good morning, friends. What a beautiful day it is! It is a good time to be thankful to the Lord for waking us up and giving us another day.
I’ve been trying to concentrate on all of the little blessings around me. I really want to take them in! There is a lot of beauty in slow living. It seems like my children are growing up before my eyes. I’m sure some of you can relate! I want to hold on to all of these precious memories, and I do that best when I do not hurry about.
Honestly, for the past month or so I have been so intent on taking things in as they come that I’ve rarely written in my planner. I decided I needed to sit down yesterday evening for a short planning session, however. This evening we are going to begin celebrating Passover, and I wanted to make sure that I remember at least the important things.
I also moved my pepper plants to larger pots yesterday. It was so much fun to get my hands in the dirt! I will be doing the same for my tomatoes soon, but first I need to purchase more soil.

We set a trap on my garden last night. It appears that something is digging up my plant starts, and then just throwing them aside. We had a problem with a raccoon doing this a couple of years ago when I put an egg under my plants as fertilizer. I haven’t made that same mistake again, but I wonder what could be doing this. The same raccoon? That would be wild!
One of my older daughters is away on a fun trip this week, and I’ve been enjoying her updates. To be honest, I would love to be on a short trip right now. While I’m very content at home, I think it would be nice to lay my eyes on a palm tree, ha! Maybe sometime in the future.
Let’s dedicate our day to the Lord, and do all we can to serve Him while we take care of our homes. I know He has so much good in store for us!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!
Happy Feast days! We are celebrating Passover and Unleavened bread starting today. It is a wonderous thing that the Father has gifted us with life and eyes to see and noses to smell and ears to hear. All the life that is waking up in the spring is beautiful.
Happy Feast Days to you too, Kimberley! I’m so thankful for all of the blessings surrounding us!
