A Struggle for Meaning

Hello friends, and welcome.

The sun is starting to rise and birds are chirping outside. It is going to be a great day!

I have been more present on this blog lately after a time of struggle. I hope my writing is meaningful in some way. Yet sometimes, I don’t know if what I say is all that important. Do you know what I mean?

I want to be helpful and kind. I don’t want to share “fluff” that isn’t really meaningful.

So, I’ve struggled. Was there a point to any of this?

After some time, I realized there was. Friends, there is so much “bad” stuff out there. Sharing good stuff is important, even if it seems trivial.

There is value to sharing happy times with our families, and what our garden looks like. Homeschool thoughts and plans could encourage other mamas in ways we don’t even know.

If something we say brings a smile to someone’s face, it is worth being said.

Positivity will breed more positivity. I was just talking about this with my kids yesterday.

Isn’t it easy to complain when others are complaining? Before you know it, everyone in the conversation is looking at the negative side of things. This definitely is a downer!

But if we talk about our blessings, more blessings usually come to mind. This is encouraging and uplifting! This is the kind of atmosphere I want to cultivate in my home and on this blog.

I think we can all do this, no matter where we are in life. We can share happiness in our homes, online, and when in public. Even in the small things.

Over time, I’ve realized that sometimes small things bring us the most pleasure. Simple moments can really make a huge impact in our lives.

And who knows? Maybe your smile will impact someone today. Perhaps talking about a small blessing in your life will encourage someone else to make a change for the better.

The positivity you share can have a huge impact on your loved ones. What an important thing to do!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, friends!

Blessings, Nicole

I can relate to what you’re sharing here. I’ve not really been blogging for some of the same reasons. Life has seasons. God will show us what to say when. Until then, it’s ok to focus on figuring out how He’s leading us.
    Thanks for the encouragement
