Hello friends, and welcome!
Whew, it has been quite a day. I started it off by running for an hour with my husband. These hot and humid Georgia summers are no joke! I try to tell myself how good it is to exercise in the heat. I made sure to drink plenty of water, and I felt great when we were done.
I then harvested our first round of green beans and watered my raised bed garden. A couple of sunflowers are blooming, which is so exciting! I also processed a gallon storage bag full of onions on the front porch. My eyes thank me for doing it this way. I’ve been cleaning and chopping our onion harvest bit by bit, and hopefully I will be done with it soon.
After my run, I put on this super simple outfit. Our family has owned this shirt for around a decade. It originally belonged to my daughter, but she doesn’t like it anymore. Fine by me. I love purple, and I enjoy wearing it!
The skirt is from Jupe de Abby. I just love the skirts on this website! I believe I purchased the 22 inch option. I am 5’2″, and it is nice when I can find skirts that are basically knee length. Normally the “knee” length options hit my calves, which is a little longer than I’d like for them to be.
It’s been a good day. My six-year-old has asked that I go outside with her to take pictures of flowers, so that is where I’m headed now. I love to spend time with her.
I also hope to remove the silly putty my son rubbed into my blanket. Just keeping it real.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!
Blessings, Nicole

I’m 5’2” as well and can relate to skirts hitting at an awkward calf-length. Enjoy Georgia summer!
It definitely can be awkward! Thank you Parvathy, I hope you enjoy your summer as well!
