Hello, and welcome to Redeeming Home.
My name is Nicole, and I’m a wife, a homeschooling mother to nine, and most importantly, a child of God.
(My five youngest children and I on my fortieth birthday.)
I’m so thankful for the Father’s gift of His Son. He took my broken life and made it whole. Praise God for deliverance and redemption! I’m slowly learning to follow the Narrow Way. Once I realized that Yeshua (Jesus) was the Living Torah and Word, I was all in! My desire is to walk as He walked.
…whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked.
1 John 2:6
We know that we love God’s children by this—when we love God and obey His commandments. For this is the love of God—that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
1 John 5:2-3
As a wife and mother, I realize that my most important calling is at home. I hope to use this space to share what I am learning to make my home a stronger place by God’s grace. I fail quite regularly, and I’ve come to realize that if my children become accomplished in life, it is in spite of me, and not because of me. In spite of my totally introverted nature, I really enjoy sharing thoughts here that may glorify God in some way. It is such a joy, and a blessing, to be a keeper at home!

I am by no means an expert in any of these things. But these are goals that I aspire to, and might write about from time to time. If you are here from my previous blog, welcome! It is so nice to connect with you again!

I’ve enjoyed writing for some time now. I previously contributed to Year Round Homeschooling, and I also used to write for the Homeschool Review Crew. You can also find my writing in the Minimalist Homeschool magazine.
May God bless you richly as we ask Him to redeem our homes for His glory.
