Inspirational Fiction

From the time I was very young, I have always been an avid reader. A few years ago, I entered my first writing contest. Last year I was a stage three finalist in Love Inspired’s Manuscript Matchmaker’s competition. While my story was not chosen for publication, I would like to share it with you here, along with other fiction resources.

As wives and mothers, our primary duty lies with our homes and families. However, I’ve always found inspirational fiction to be, well…inspiring on my faith journey when I’ve had the time to read and write.

I hope you enjoy, and that God is glorified here and always.

The Amish Schoolmarm

When Hattie Fisher flees to Deer Springs, Montana with her young sister, all she hopes for is a place of refuge after her mother’s suspicious death. As head of the school board, Levi Hilty figures that the new hire will work out better than his last mistake. Sparks fly as expectations are dashed and danger lurks nearer than Hattie ever thought possible. Will God bring these two strangers together to further His purposes?
