Early July Garden Tour

Hello friends, and welcome to my garden!

I am so excited about how my garden is looking overall this year. It is definitely a blessing from the Lord! My cucumbers, squash, and zucchini have exceeded my expectations. My sunflowers are doing wonderfully. It is not my year for tomatoes on the other hand. Which is totally okay!

I thought I would share a recent garden tour with y’all today. I hope you enjoy it. Please click the play button on the picture above to watch.

In real time, my garden is turning into a jungle in some areas. It is almost time to rip out the zucchini and squash plants and add something new. I’m thinking I may go with bush beans.

If you have a garden, how is it going? I hope you are having a great year!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends.

Blessings, Nicole

A Morning in My Garden | June 2023

Hey friends, and welcome to the blog!

In the morning, I love to spend some time in my garden. This is one of my favorite parts of summer! It is so peaceful, and I think it is a wonderful place to think and pray.

We have lived here three years now, and each year my garden gets better. Perennials are starting to spread, and my yard is beginning to fill in.

It is such a blessing to see one of my dreams come true. After moving a lot and leaving half-done gardens, it has made my heart happy to see this one come to life.

I don’t know if we will be here forever, and that’s okay. There have been many times in life that my plans differed from God’s. But for now I’m so thankful for this season.

As a bonus, several of my children have started to enjoy gardening, too! I hope they remember these times for the rest of their lives.

I’ve been particularly drawn to the flowers in my yard, lately. They attract pollinators, as well as being beautiful.

I’ve had both failures and successes, but today I’m concentrating on the successes! (Right now Japanese Beetles are ravaging my bean plants. I’m not too happy about that, ha!)

Summer is usually the time I enjoy the garden without trying to plant anything new other than annuals and vegetables. In my experience, plants thrive much better if planted in spring or fall.

Thank you so much for visiting my garden with me today. I’ll talk to you soon!

My Early May Garden

Hey friends, and welcome to the blog!

May is upon us, but the temperature is still cool around here. This is so strange for Georgia! None the less, I am still enjoying my garden. Some of my early crops are doing well, and God willing, I will be planting out summer crops within a week or so.

I can’t tell you how much peace my garden brings me. We purchased this home nearly three years ago, and have been working on the gardens ever since. The property still has a long way to go, but we are beginning to see the fruits of our labors.

I wanted to write this post to document some of what is going on outside right now. Next year, I can compare what everything looks like!

So much fun, and so many projects! I am enjoying this gardening season so much thus far.

If you garden, how is it going for you? I hope your land is abundantly blessed this year!

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. I’ll talk to you soon!

Blessings, Nicole
