As most of you probably know, I have been a homeschool mom for a long time now. This is our 19th school year. While there have been both triumphs and challenges, I must say that homeschooling is one of the best things that has happened to our family.

I am trying to put out a series on my YouTube channel about the curriculum my family is using this year. Last week I shared about our fourth grade curriculum. I really am enjoying our elementary curriculum this year. My daughter is doing well with her coursework.

While I didn’t mention it in the video, my daughter also takes violin lessons, which I consider a part of her schoolwork. I source that out because I don’t know the first thing about playing a musical instrument!
